Our farm is a small, family-run guest house, in the 3rd generation. We are on the outskirts of Watschig, in the middle of the beautiful Gail Valley. We love what we do: And our guests can feel it. The Schullerhof is a family business with an extra dose of charm and an additional pinch of feel-good factor. Real and with a lot of passion. A look behind the scenes pays off.

Animals

The coexistence of the children with the animals is very important to us. Brushing the ponies, playing with the cats, feeding and scratching the porkers, petting the goats and rabbits and, of course, helping with meals, for us everyday, for the children something special and unique. The personal care of our animals gives the whole family a vacation close to nature. We take a lot of time to teach the children about riding and to experience direct contact with the ponies. We go riding 3-4 times a week. It can happen that one or two parents can get to know them up close by leading our ponies. Because with every ride, of course, one adult goes with each pony. Only the experienced long-term riders are allowed to ride alone in the group.

Children's day

The highlight of the family vacation is the weekly children's day, where we take over and take care of the children for half the day from approx. We go on a tractor excursion, collect stones on the neighbouring river, which the children can then paint, and play various age-appropriate games, ... So the parents can really enjoy a day for themselves and go on a hike or a trip. Because only when the children have joy and employment can the parents finally switch off, relax, recharge their batteries and really enjoy their vacation and come to rest.

Another highlight is our weekly campfire in the evening. Not only children's eyes shine there.

Playground

Our Schullerhof is a paradise for children. Over 10,000 m² of play and sunbathing lawn on which the children can move freely, an indoor children's playroom and youth room with table football, various bicycles for young and old with child seats and the popular go-kart are available to you free of charge at any time.

Always included - rich breakfast buffet

Another focus of the Schullerhof is the culinary area, mainly with products from the Carnic region.

So we attach great importance to a varied breakfast buffet. With fruit salad, yoghurt, homemade jams, a variety of grains and, of course, ham, salami, homemade bacon or sausages, cheese and various types of pastries, there is something for everyone.

In summer you can enjoy breakfast in front of the house on the terrace with a 50 km view of the Dobratsch. You are also welcome to use our two cozy Carinthian-style guest rooms.

In the high season we like to spoil all our guests at breakfast together. In the early and late season, our guests can of course also take care of themselves. (Bread service possible at any time)
